Circa early 1950s vintage pale pink rayon satin bias cut nightgown/ slip, approximate size 36- please confirm below.
Wide ivory lace straps with chevron lace panelling above the chest coverage; gathered cups with higher waist, A- lined to the hem.
Wide band of lace across the straight back, lace hem.
'Trademark Fischer Rayon', sold through 'Julius Garfinkel & Co, Washington'.

Condition is very good, with the following issues:
Two stains to the lace at the back center, the one n the left has a worn through area (from attempted stain removal?) about the diameter of a pencil eraser. Please see photos.
Some overall light discoloration to the lace trim.
The stitching is secure throughout, lace shows no other damage.
A now scarce label on a stunning gown - this is a truly stellar piece!
